Kidde Fire Sentry Battery Operated 4-inch Smoke Detector

Smaller than Kiddes other models, the 4-inch Kidde smoke detector is perfect for tight spaces or for mobile homes or RVs. Easy to install with protection during a power outage, the Kidde Fire Sentry smoke detector doesn’t require wiring – simply install a 9-volt, alkaline battery (included) & mount to the bracket (included). Equipped with a flashing red LED light, the Kidde smoke alarm will flash to indicate the alarm is receiving power & a short chirp indicates when the battery needs to be replaced. In the event of fire, the Kidde smoke detector will emit an 85-decibel alarm. The test-hush button feature allows you to test the alarm after battery installation or to hush nuisance alarms. According to industry standards, smoke alarm need to be disposed of and replaced every 10-years. Meets requirements of UL217, NFPA72, NFPA 101, FHA, & HUD.
