The machine-blown and completely lead-free Gabriel “StandArt” glass weighs only 150 grams, but is made of high-quality crystal glass in a single process. It is harder, more scratch-resistant and more break-resistant than lead glass, so you can even wash it in the dishwasher, but you should avoid chlorinated detergents and tabs and choose the less aggressive powder instead. The Gabriel glass is suitable not only for all wines, but also for champagne, whisky, brandy or port wine and even for top beers. Thanks to its detailed design, it gives simpler wines more taste, while top-quality wines do not lose any of their quality. The flat design of the foot gives the glass a secure footing and, together with the barely perceptible x-shaped long handle, a special elegance – even when held with all five fingers. The lower part of the goblet, which is slightly curved outwards, ensures that even a small amount of wine fills the entire width of the glass and absorbs a lot of scent. It also offers your wine maximum colour density, giving both wine connoisseurs and occasional connoisseurs the important visual impression. Although the glass is designed for a normal filling quantity, it serves its purpose just as perfectly when used for tasting or for rarities. 95 millimetres wide decanting effect during pouring provides your wine with plenty of air and promotes the development of different flavours in particular. The almost imperceptibly inward curved goblet shape allows an optimal upward movement of the aromas and bundling of the bouquet. The ideally selected glass opening of 66 millimetres ensures that the flavours are neither blocked by an opening that is too small nor lost because of too much space. Finally, the goblet is wide enough to accommodate the whole nose, which makes drinking more pleasant thanks to the additional freedom of movement on the one hand and on the other hand brings the bouquet closer to you before the expectant sip.
