The jerky cutting board features two cutting depths, 1/4 and 3/8, so you can cut your jerky to exacting thicknesses. One side has a textured surface, which grips meat, tenderizes and helps seasonings penetrate meat. The other side is flat, so you can strip-cut meat after slabs are cut.
