Meals typically include water-activated flameless ration heaters, entree, side dish, snacks, beverage powders, and accessory packs. Please note, flameless ration heaters are not packaged with some meal entrees. Average 1250 calories per meal. Entrees are selected at random by Amazon. Military Surplus MREs are not fresh packed. Meals are normally held in climate controlled storage for 12 to 24 months before being released to the field. For the longest shelf life, meals should be stored at or below room temperature.
